Our client is the leading UK law firm specialising exclusively in representing motorcyclists who have been injured in road traffic accidents and suffered damage to their motorcycles. They have a wealth of experience in dealing with motorcycle claims within their team which ensures that you will always have the backing of a handler who will have a detailed knowledge of motorcycles, motorcycle accidents, how insurers work and how the court system works. They always aim to offer advice which is clear, unbiased and applicable to your claim.

Role Purpose:
We are searching for a dedicated Data Analyst with a strong commercial acumen and a genuine enthusiasm for data. This role goes beyond data generation; it's about harnessing data effectively to derive actionable insights. Your primary focus will involve delivering comprehensive reports and analysis to support our clients strategic initiatives. To excel in this role, you'll need a solid technical background as a Data Analyst, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Credit Hire and management team to identify and evaluate primary Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) impacting recoveries and performance.

• Regularly monitor business performance, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and proactively provide recommendations to enhance team performance while identifying growth opportunities or business risks.

• Manage Credit Hire reporting by setting up and maintaining reports and dashboards using technical tools like SQL, Tableau, and Excel to assess KPIs and track them over time.

• Make data accessible to internal stakeholders in a digestible and interactive format.

• Provide key insights into business opportunities and trends.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information (MI) reports to offer insights into KPIs and business trends.

• Utilize statistical analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within datasets, with recommendations being data-driven and influenced by Return on Investment (ROI), leakage, and industry trends.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and dashboards.

• Develop and maintain automated reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of MI reports.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Design visually appealing dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data in a clear and understandable manner.

• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business inquiries and decision-making processes.

•  Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data insights.

•  Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting.

•  Provide support for modeling and forecasting to understand the efforts required to achieve business targets.

Knowledge and Experience:

•          Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

•          Proven experience (minimum 3 years) working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

•          Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization, and dashboard creation.

•          Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.

•          Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, and advanced Excel skills.

•          Inquisitive mindset with a curiosity for understanding trends and underlying concepts.

•          Demonstrated ability to leverage data curiosity to benefit business outcomes.

•          Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management systems.

•          Background in Business Intelligence or Analytics Teams, with experience in defining and monitoring business performance.

•          Advanced SQL proficiency and comprehension of database architectures to craft efficient code tailored to business needs.

•          Strong problem-solving skills and ability to execute against tight deadlines in a dynamic company.

•          Excellent stakeholder management abilities across different seniority levels, capable of prioritizing requests and managing expectations effectively.
