Position Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Google Cloud DevOps Engineer with a proven track record in driving transformation and migration projects. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on coding skills and substantial expertise in container technologies, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines for transformation and migration projects on the Google Cloud Platform.
2. Utilize hands-on coding skills to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and orchestration processes, optimizing efficiency and reliability.
3. Lead containerization initiatives using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes to enhance application scalability, portability, and resilience.
4. Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
5. Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the continuous availability of systems.
6. Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for Google Cloud-based solutions.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, providing technical insights and contributing to project planning.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies into the DevOps toolkit to enhance overall efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
2. Strong hands-on coding skills with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or others.
3. Extensive experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
4. Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and tools, such as Terraform.
5. In-depth knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
6. Familiarity with Google Cloud services and tools.
7. Experience working on transformation and migration projects is a significant plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus.
